Information Update - 25th May 2006

Can everyone be aware that a PUB WATCH scheme is in operation in the Trimdons.
Should anyone come to Police or the licensing authority attention for incidents of any type of disorder on licensed premises, then they may face exclusion from all premises in the Trimdons for up to a maximum life ban depending on the type of incident.

We now have a SCHOOL WATCH operation in place for all schools in the Trimdons.
All schools have advertised the operation and local children have had letters sent home from myself via the schools. The letter outlines the operation and what action Police will take should anyone be found committing criminal offences on school premises. Can I re-enforce  that anyone who comes to my attention for offences on school premises will face positive action.

Crime in the Trimdons remains low but anti social behaviour in and around Trimdon Village community college and Resesdale Court, Trimdon Grange is on the increase. Both areas will be subject to extra patrols in order to identify the persons responsible and positive action will be taken.

Can people parking near to the shops on Church Road, Trimdon Village be more considerate about where they leave their vehicles. Anyone seen to be causing an obstruction or double parking will be issued with a fixed penalty ticket, which results in a £30 fine.
