Previously people living in different parts of the district had two different numbers to call but a move to Peterlee Police Station means that all calls are now routed through to one number. Working closely together will ensure that residents problems are dealt with more speedily and information shared across the services . The Street Warden Scheme ,which aims to tackle anti-social behaviour and neighbourhood problems,, has now been running for three years and covers the whole of District of Easington.
